What exactly is Animation?
Welcome to Omada Studio’s Animation section.
Animation comes in many forms. Since the days of traditional 2D animation, such as that of Walt Disney, animation has spread its wings and has a hand in in almost every part of the multimedia world as we know it today.
3D animation has grown exponentially and is everywhere you look, from huge block buster Hollywood movies and commercials to the internet and cellular phones, you will find traces of animation. 3D animation can then be split into sub-categories such as character animation, 3d architectural fly-through animations, motion graphics and even the lucrative gaming industry, all utilize 3d animation to drive either visually appealing entertainment or to sell a product. Other forms of animation have also become increasingly popular recently such as flash animations and the above mentioned motion graphics, which are mostly used in logo, product, web or movie introduction animations.
How can I make use of Animation?
3D can be applied in multimedia areas such as:
- Character design and animation
- Logo designs and animations
- 3D elements for motion graphics
- Architectural visualization and animated fly-throughs for property developments
- Interior design visualization
- Product design and marketing
